How Leadership Works

Some group leadership roles require Pendant Level. Roles marked “None” are open to any man ready to serve.

Leadership Roles
Operations
Breakfast Coordinator
Prerequisites: None
Role Summary: Ensure our weekly breakfast experience runs smoothly, with strong logistics and clear communication.
Key Responsibilities:

Confirm who is providing food each week
-
Arrive early to set up and prepare the space
-
Assign small-group leaders
-
Manage announcements and basic flow
Note: The Becoming Man Board of Directors will coordinate and schedule all speakers.
Group Leadership
Level 2 Warrior Shirt Leader
Prerequisites: Must have achieved Pendant Level
Role Summary: Guide and support the men in the Warrior Shirt group with encouragement, accountability, and momentum.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead group meetings

Help each man stay on track to advance to the Level 3 Ring

Check in regularly to support growth and overcome challenges
Level 3 Ring Leader
Prerequisites: Must have achieved Pendant Level
Role Summary: Shepherd and strengthen the men in the Ring group as they grow in consistency and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead group meetings

Help each man stay on track to advance to the Level 4 Pendant

Check in regularly to encourage, hold accountable, and assist through challenges
Level 4 Pendant Leader
Prerequisites: Must have achieved Pendant Level
Role Summary: Serve as a shepherd and accountable leader for Pendant men—providing biblical guidance, encouragement, and firm accountability.
Key Responsibilities:

Facilitate and lead group meetings

Provide biblical counsel, encouragement, and course correction
-
Check in consistently to assess spiritual, personal, and practical progress
-
Help identify root issues when challenges arise
-
Connect men to appropriate resources and walk alongside them toward growth, restoration, and consistency
Events & Outreach
Terra Forma Event Assistant
Prerequisites: None
Role Summary: Support the Terra Forma event team across planning and execution to ensure excellence and order.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in planning, setup, and teardown

Provide on-site support during the event
-
Respond to needs as they arise
-
Participate in post-event review/critique to improve future events
Becoming Man Summit Event Assistant
Prerequisites: None
Role Summary: Support the Becoming Man Summit team across planning and execution to ensure a strong attendee experience.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in planning, setup, and teardown

Community Service Coordinator
Prerequisites: None
Role Summary: Lead how Becoming Man responds to community service requests and mobilize men to serve effectively.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage and organize responses to community service project requests

Coordinate closely with the church’s Community Service Director

Help ensure men are actively engaged and showing up with excellence
