The Story Behind the Movement
Becoming Man began with a God-given burden to restore honor to manhood. In a culture confused about masculinity, we call men back to their created purpose — to live as Prophet, Priest, King, and Warrior.
Across the world, men are stepping back from their God-given roles. Fatherlessness is rising. Families are breaking. Even in the church, biblical masculinity is fading. The result? Weak homes, fractured communities, and a culture in crisis.
God placed a vision in Pastor IV Marsh’s heart: to build a movement that would disciple men into their full calling. Not just in one area of life, but in every area — spirit, soul, and body.
Through the PPKW framework, Becoming Man equips men to lead with integrity, serve with humility, protect with courage, and walk closely with God. This is not a program — it’s a brotherhood, a lifestyle, and a lifelong journey.
Meet Pastor IV Marsh
Founder & CEO of Becoming Man
Pastor IV Marsh is a pastor, entrepreneur, author, marriage and leadership coach, and a veteran of the United States Air Force. His mission: to call men back to their God-given purpose and equip them to live as Prophet, Priest, King, and Warrior.
Ministry & Leadership
IV leads BCOMING.CHURCH, a multi-site church reaching thousands weekly across the U.S. and abroad. He is also the founder of Lead Now, Warrior Evolution, and the Becoming Man movement — all dedicated to building strong leaders in faith, family, and business.
Background & Experience
A native of North Alabama, IV served in the U.S. Air Force, spending much of his career in Panama City, Panama, fighting the war on drugs. He later worked in law enforcement before stepping into full-time ministry in 2007.
Family & Personal Life
IV and his wife, Bené, have been married since 1994. They have three grown children and two daughters-in-law, and remain committed to modeling a Christ-centered marriage and family life.

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only, infallible, authoritative Word of God.

We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

We believe that the salvation of lost and sinful people is accomplished by grace alone through faith in Jesus Christ alone, by the regenerating power of the Holy Spirit.

What We Believe About Manhood
God created men and women equal in worth but distinct in role. Men are called to lead, protect, provide, and serve as Prophet, Priest, King, and Warrior. In Christ, fallen masculinity is redeemed and restored.

Both men and women are made in God’s image. Men are entrusted with unique responsibilities to teach God’s Word, serve their families, lead with integrity, and protect what God has given them.
A Generation in Confusion
We live in the first generation in history that’s confused about what it means to be a man. Fatherlessness, cultural distortion, and spiritual passivity are eroding the foundation of families and communities.
Called to Noble Masculinity
Jesus Christ is the ultimate Prophet, Priest, King, and Warrior. He redeems our fallen masculinity and calls us to lead with courage, humility, and faith.
